Who Operates This Program

The Keizer Rotary text message program is operated by the Rotary Club of Keizer (Keizer Rotary), a community service organization in Keizer, Oregon. Keizer Rotary is operated by the Rotary Club of Keizer.

Program Description

Current club members may choose to receive club communications by text message (SMS) at a mobile number on their membership record. Enrollment is available only to current club members and requires confirmation by email before any messages are sent. Participation is entirely voluntary.

Message Categories

The two categories below are independent. You may enroll in either one, or both, and consent to promotional messages is never required to receive transactional messages.

• Transactional Messages. I agree to receive transactional SMS messages from the Rotary Club of Keizer (Keizer Rotary), including weekly newsletter notifications, meeting information, event reminders, schedule changes, and other club-related notifications.
• Promotional Messages. I agree to receive promotional SMS messages from the Rotary Club of Keizer (Keizer Rotary), including information about club events, fundraisers, community activities, and other promotional announcements.

Message Frequency and Cost

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Keizer Rotary does not charge for text messages; any charges come from your mobile carrier under your own plan.

How to Opt Out (STOP)

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving club text messages. Your opt-out is honored through carrier suppression and recorded on your club record with the date and time. You may also ask us to remove your number through our contact page. After opting out, you must complete the full opt-in and email confirmation process again before receiving messages.

Carriers and Delivery

Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Mobile numbers and SMS consent records are used only to operate this program. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Consent Is Separate From These Terms

Accepting or acknowledging these terms, our Privacy Policy, or our Terms of Use does not by itself constitute consent to receive text messages. SMS consent is given only by selecting a message category on the Newsletter via Text form and confirming the request by email.

Eligibility and Changes

Only current, active club members are eligible to receive club text messages. If a membership ends or becomes inactive, messages stop. We may update these terms; the current version is always posted on this page.
