Weeping Cedar of Lebanon

Cedrus libani ‘Glauca Pendula’

A good tree, a tree that should do well in Keizer.

Description

This tree is a tall and slender conifer (evergreen) tree with an upright single trunk. It grows vertically, but then arches, thus the name “weeping.”

Characteristics

The short pendulous branches hang close to the trunk. However, they also develop the occasional long, wild, and more upright, branches that create an interesting irregular form. It normally grows to 50 ft. tall and 25 ft. wide. The Needle-like leaves have a green with slight bluish tint.
