A broadleaf deciduous, upright spreading tree. As it is a Snakebark tree, the bark is typically vertically stripped. The fall color is yellow, orange, and red.
Characteristics
The leaves are 2 to 4 inches long and 2 to 3 inches wide. The Red Snakebark Maple grows the best in partial shade.
