The Pink Heartbreaker Weeping Redbud is a broadleaf deciduous tree with a bowing or ‘weeping’ habit. The flowers are rosy-pink to red-purple in the early spring.

The flowers linger after leaf emergence. The seed pods are set low. The leaves are normally roundish or heart shaped and 2 to 3 inches wide. The leaves emerge red turning to dark green. This tree gives full to partial shade from the sun.
