A broadleaf deciduous tree. It grows fast, and then it slows when it matures. It is wide, and vase shaped. The leaves are a lustruous dark green color. In the autuumn, the color of the leaves is a bright yellow. 

The mature height of the Accolade Elm tree is 50 to 60 ft. tall. The width of the tree is 25 to 40 ft. tall. The tree prefers full sun or partial shade. This tree has been reported to be resistant to Dutch elm disease.
