A broadleaf deciduous tree. It grows with a pyramidal and upright habit. The flower buds are tapered and a pale-yellow bloom. 

The Elizabeth Magnolia grows to 25 to 30 ft. tall, but only half as wide. The leaves are around half an inche long and have a short, but abrupt point. This tree prefers to get as much sun as possible.
